Serving clients throughout the Conejo Valley, Camarillo, Ventura, Oxnard, and surrounding areas, Jan Marshall-Moore enjoys working with first-time homeowners, move-up homeowners, helping people with VA and FHA loans, and more. Since starting her loan originating career in 1979, Jan has assisted generations of families with their home financing needs, some even four generations deep.
Jan discovered her true calling in the lending industry while finishing up her Bachelors of Science degree, working as a teller at San Diego Federal. Once graduated, she found that I loved banking and working with people. Jan transferred to the Mortgage Department and has since developed a thriving career serving people in their mortgage loan needs.
Those who know Jan know she is compassionate, honest and always available to be of assistance in any way she can. She works hard on her client’s behalf, always sourcing the best program and pricing available to meet their needs. The satisfaction of knowing that her work helps her clients have their own home is the driving force behind her success. To Jan, a home represents roots; it’s where life happens and where families gather. It’s where hopes, dreams, and memories are made. Helping people achieve the American Dream of homeownership is her calling.
When not hard at work for her clients, Jan donates her time and resources to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Camp Cocker Rescue for Cocker Spaniels, and PBS. She was born in Kansas and moved to San Diego at age 10. She loved the small mid-west town of her childhood and living in San Diego as a teen was a treat. She reminisces on the sounds of the animals from the San Diego Zoo during campouts at Balboa Park when she was a Girl Scout, and times spent enjoying the sunshine and waves on the beach.
To Jan, time well spent is time with her husband and their dogs. Jan has a huge heart, and with all things, she is committed to doing her best. She is inspired by the following inspiring quotes: “Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad and a soul that never loses faith in God,” and, “Whatever you do, work with at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” Colossians 3:23
